When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number or credit card information.
Cookies are safe to use and are used on virtually all websites on the internet, in some form or other. We use Google Analytics to analyse website traffic to help us improve what we do as a business and the site itself. The data gathered is anonymous and can not be used to identify individual users. We use the anonymise function of Google Analytics so that individual IP addresses are not recorded in the analytics data. No personal information is recorded in the analytics data.
Webserver logs and security
When you visit this website, as with most websites, information about your device and your IP address are automatically saved in server log files. This is a necessary requirement specifically for the purpose of maintaining server security and integrity, as well as to prevent fraud. This data is only accessible by site and hosting administrators. The web hosting company is ISO27001 (Information Security Management Systems) accredited and fully GDPR compliant.
We use Google Fonts API to provide the font faces we use on this website. When you use our website, some data, including your IP address, will be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers in the USA. This data is used solely for the purpose of providing the service, and is not associated with other data Google may hold on you. The use of Google Fonts API, as well as the relevant data transfer and processing is governed by Google Inc.’s data protection policy: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We use a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, and they are required to keep the information confidential.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
All transactions are processed securely by our merchant service provider SagePay. Your credit card number will be encrypted when your order is placed using SSL encryption software. Our merchant provider then informs us the outcome of that transaction via the encryption system.
We do not store any credit or debit card details after your telephone order has been placed. Once used for the purpose of processing your order all financial details are destroyed.
We record all calls to help with training and security. When we take the crucial payment details, we manually block that part of the call so that our system does not record that part of the call.
